• Through its various activities and initiatives, the CMA seeks to strengthen a culture of transparency and achieve better corporate governance among concerned parties in the financial market.
• From this point, the CMA continuously monitors the major important developments worldwide in the field of strengthening and developing governance and adopting new trends that contribute to achieving the CMA's vision in this regard to improve performance in the financial market, particularly after the learned lessons and some regulatory policies in this regard were tested in the aftermath of the financial crisis.
• In its initiative to develop the corporate governance standards and corporate discipline, the CMA is focusing on the composition of the Board of Directors and the percentage of women representation therein and inclusion of the three social, environment and governance (SEG) dimensions, sustainability, risk management, integrated reporting and ethical leadership.
