A survey was launched as part of the keen interest of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) to measure the impact of the legislation introduced by seeking stakeholder engagement and input as a tool to improve the legislative system

:Objective

The SCA published this survey to measure the impact of Board Chairman's Decision No. (21/Chairman) of 2023 Regulating Green and Sustainability-Linked Bonds and Sukuk 

:Expected Decisions

The SCA will take into consideration the survey results and the stakeholder input and feedback when amending existing legislation or introducing new regulations to meet stakeholder expectations 

:Outcome

Measuring the impact of Board Chairman's Decision No. (21/Chairman) of 2023 Regulating Green and Sustainability-Linked Bonds and Sukuk.

All survey participants (100%) said that the decision helped create new investment opportunities and did not indicate any obstacles that prevented them from complying with its provisions.
