Subject: The Securities and Commodities Authority is conducting a survey to gather participants' opinions on a decision regarding a handbook that regulates all matters related to securities. This is in light of the ongoing changes and complexities in financial markets, and to protect investors' rights.

Objective: This survey aims to collect participants' views on a decision regarding a handbook that regulates all matters related to securities in a way that contributes to the stability of financial markets.

Expected Outcomes: The SCA will take into consideration all comments and suggestions received, which will help it meet public expectations.

Outcome

The survey results showed that 60% of participants consider issuing a securities regulation handbook very necessary, while 40% see it as somewhat necessary. Additionally, 60% indicated full readiness to comply with the decision, compared to 40% who are somewhat ready. Furthermore, 80% believe the decision will significantly enhance the attractiveness of the UAE markets, while 20% see it as somewhat enhancing. These results will be taken into account to support decision-making.
