Survey on the Decision Regarding Carbon Trading Platform Operators

Subject: The Securities and Commodities Authority is conducting a survey to gather participants' opinions on the decision to regulate carbon trading platform operators. With the increasing global focus on combating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability, carbon trading platforms have become an important tool in financing environmental projects and trading carbon credits. 

Objective: This survey aims to collect participants' views on the decision to regulate carbon trading platform operators and organize these platforms to ensure transparency, effectively contribute to reducing carbon emissions, and enhance confidence in financial markets. 

Decisions: The Authority will take into consideration all comments and suggestions received, which will help it meet public expectations.


Outcome

The results of the Carbon Trading Platform Operator Decision Survey showed that 60% of participants believe that operating the platform is highly essential, while 20% considered it somewhat essential, and 20% viewed it as non-essential. The Authority will take these results into consideration when .making decisions related to the operation of the platform, with the aim of improving and meeting the expectations of the target audience
