The Capital Market Authority, in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Councils, organized two awareness workshops for senior citizens about the service for unclaimed dividends prior to 2015. The workshops were held at the majlis of His Excellency Hilal Zaid Al Shahi and the majlis of His Excellency Al Mutarad bin Mia Al Afari.

The sessions focused on introducing participants to the service and how to benefit from it, helping them claim their financial rights in an easy manner. They also covered sources of profit from shares and how dividends are distributed to shareholders, in addition to warning about fraudulent advertisements and how to deal with them.
