Statement

“The Securities & Commodities Authority would like to inform the dealers in the UAE capital markets that it filed a report to the competent investigation authorities in the State about the facts, news, and rumors published on the Social Media concerning some of the securities listed in the licensed markets in the UAE by a person residing abroad who claims to be a financial analyst, in pursuance of the provisions of the Federal Law No. 4 of 2000 concerning the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority and Market and the Federal Decree-Law No. 5 of 2012 on Combating Cybercrimes. Further, we are coordinating with the competent authorities and bodies in the country where such person resides to take the necessary actions in this regard”
