The Flag of our nation beats in our hearts. Celebrating the flying of the Flag signifies an Emirati epic that would fuel the senses of unity and glory and anchor the concept of good citizenship by linking the fruitful hard work with the nobility of the nation; and it sheds the light on the relationship between the values of work and achievement in protecting the gains of the country, and development and elevation of the nation, which denotes an important source of happiness of the individual and the society.

On the UAE Flag Day, we are overwhelmed with pride and dignity. This is an immortal day in the records of the country when we have raised the flag of our honor and pride. On this day our hearts are eager to see the UAE flag with its four colors standing tall and flying in the horizons.
This day is even more important because it marks the anniversary of H.H. President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Accession Day. It is an opportunity to express our loyalty and dedication to our prudent Leadership who brought about comprehensive development in the UAE, and continued the miracle of construction and achievement, and elevated the UAE to a prestigious rank among the civilized nations.
In fact, our celebration stems from our national fundamentals and core values of loyalty, belonging and faithfulness to our prudent leadership who presented the most magnificent model of the nation of glory, pride, leadership and happiness.

On this occasion which we hold dear, the Securities and Commodities Authority is pleased to share the joy of the nation with the Flag Day by announcing the “Strategy of Happiness and Positivity" under the banner “Bringing Happiness is Leadership". Through this strategy, the SCA seeks to achieve its vision of securing a happy work environment for the staff and instilling positivity as a core value in all the work divisions.
If the Flag Raising initiative boosts the bonds of coherence and unity among the citizens and residents in our beloved country and the prudent leadership, the occasion also marks a day of celebration, a source of happiness, and a festivity of joy and delight.
I cannot conclude this brief speech without praying to Allah Almighty to preserve the blessings He bestowed upon us in a generous State where the flag of patriotism, happiness, and loyalty to the precious homeland and its President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan is flying.
