Thursday is declared holiday for financial markets to mark Al Hijri New Year

Pursuant to Circular No. (28) of 2017 issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) on Al Hijri New Year holiday for UAE-based federal ministries and departments, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) declared Thursday, September 21, a public holiday for financial markets, after having conferred with their management.

Markets will reopen on the morning of Sunday, September 24.
