Financial markets to close for Eid Al Fitr holiday beginning on Monday, May 2, and trading will resume on Thursday, May 5

Based on circular No. 04 of 2022, issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, the Securities and Commodities Authority announced that, after coordinating with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market, financial markets will close for Eid Al Fitr holiday from Monday, May 2, until Wednesday, May 4. Trading will resume on Thursday, May 5.

It is up to the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange to announce when the holiday starts and ends, according to public interest requirements.
