In support of the initiative of women representation in the Board of Directors of the companies, the SCA signs a MoU with the Emirates Gender Balance Council

In the presence of H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SCA, a number of members of the Board of Directors, and H.E. Mona El Mari, Vice-Chair of the Emirates Gender Balance Council and Chairman of the Dubai Women Establishment, the Securities & Commodities Authority and the Emirates Gender Balance Council signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance mutual cooperation and to intensify the UAE efforts to achieve gender balance by working to increase the women participation in the boards of directors of the public shareholding companies in the financial markets, in accordance with the UAE national indicators.
The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi, CEO of the SCA, on behalf of the SCA and Shamsa Saleh, General Secretary of the Emirates Gender Balance Council on behalf of the council.
