The SCA participated in the 2nd Annual Forum concerning Strengthening of the Governance of Companies and Financial Institutions in the Arab States which was entitled “Building bridges with the Board members” which was opened by Dr. Abdulrahman A. Al Hamidy, Director General Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund. H.E. Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi, Acting CEO of the SCA represented the SCA in the forum.

Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi gave a speech in the Forum and affirmed that the SCA amended the requirements of disclosure and transparency related to the public shareholding companies, such as disclosure of the details of transactions with the related parties and the remuneration of the members of the Board of Directors

On the sidelines of the 2nd Annual Forum concerning Strengthening of the Governance of Companies and Financial Institutions in the Arab States, the Acting CEO of the SCA said that the SCA managed to achieve an exceptional success which contributed in reinforcing the UAE position at the global competitiveness level and boosting of its position in the area of investor protection.
