During the SCA Annual Get-Together
H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori honors the winners of Al Forsan Program awards
And the teams of outstanding achievements, and the departments and employees who scored the highest performance rates
Under the patronage and presence of H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors, The Securities & Commodities Authority held its Annual Get-Together under the slogan: “The Year of Giving: Social Responsibility… Volunteering… Serving the Nation”
H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SCA, gave the opening address and he congratulated the SCA team for outstanding performance in 2016 and success in winning two awards; namely the Leading Federal Entity (entities less than 500 employees) and the Best Entity in Administrative and Financial Governance under Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Government Excellence awards / fourth round.
He also encouraged them to achieve further excellence in the new year and the years to come and to put in efforts to continue the SCA’s pursuit improving the financial market to rank among the advanced markets, and to attain the best achievements in a manner to reflect the goals of the UAE Vision 2021 and the National Agenda priorities under the wise Leadership of the State represented in His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
In the presence of H.E. Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi, CEO of the SCA, H.E. Sultan Al Mansoori honored H.E. Mrs. Mariam Al Suwaidi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer For Licensing, Supervision & Enforcement, winner of the Outstanding Impact Award, and the Outstanding Teams in the SCA represented in the Minority Investors Protection team which she led and which contributed in rising the UAE 39th places on the “Minority Investor Protection” index. He also honored H.E. Mohamed Khalifa El-Hadary, Deputy CEO of Institutional and Supporting Affairs (Outstanding Impact Award) for leading the UAE Electronic Disclosure Committee and attaining for the UAE a pioneering position at the regional and Arab levels in this area, in addition to leading the team which qualified the UAE to obtain Mohamed Bin Rashid's Government Excellence award. He also honored Ramy El-Nosour, financial consultant, and author of the “Corporate Governance” book, and the human resources development team who obtained the Emirates Human Resources Awards in 2016 at the level of the Federal Government. He also honored Khaled Mahmoud, Legal Affairs Department Director and the Ideal Employee of the SCA who won the SCA Knight Award.
