On the UAE Commemoration Day we value the sacrifices made by the UAE people. It is a day to honor the loyal men who sacrificed their souls and gave their lives to keep the UAE standing tall. It is a day when the UAE gave the best of its sons to rise up the ladder of glory and martyrdom for the sake of raising the flag of truth and maintain the safety and stability of the nation.
The brave martyrs of the nation realized that the nations are built with the arms of men, genuineness of principles, and chivalry of the stands, and then they responded to the call of duty and today their souls rest in God’s mercy and they are recorded in the shining records of history after they fulfilled their duties and served as the mighty fortress that averted the danger so that our nation remains a helping hand for the brother and friend, and a beacon of giving and generosity, and an oasis of safety and stability, with the UAE people enjoying goodness and prosperity, thanks to the wise leadership of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
Today we pay our respect on the second anniversary of the UAE Commemoration Day recalling the dignified sacrifices when the martyrs gave their lives to serve their nation. It is a day to honor a timeless sonata of giving and a legend of glory and pride. They were all awaiting to be martyred. We bow our heads today in respect and appreciation of the martyrs’ families who instilled the values of loyalty, belonging, patriotism, and sacrifice in the spirits of their sons. Today, we share with the UAE families the sense of pride and honor of the people of this nation who demonstrated the most sublime meanings of sacrifice and giving. We pray to God almighty to bestow his mercy and forgiveness upon their righteous souls.
