In a statement he made on this occasion, Dr. Al Zaabi said:

“Celebrating this day gives us an overwhelming sense of great pride in the sacrifices of brave Emiratis in all military fields. This is a day to honor those who were martyred while defending their homeland."

“One of the reasons why we celebrate this occasion is to honor the souls of our martyred sons and to strengthen cohesion between Emirati citizens and the armed forces—a source of our pride and honor. This is a day to remind the Emirati youth of the sacrifices of their brave fellow brothers. November 30 will always be a day to recognize, appreciate, and express pride in the sacrifices of Emirati martyrs. We reiterate on this day that the UAE will always remember its loyal sons who gave their lives to protect their nation and to instill the noble values in young Emirati generations," he added.

Dr. Al Zaabi stressed that celebrating this occasion “emphasizes our loyalty and devotion to our wise leadership and prudent government that spared no effort to immortalize the memories of our brave martyrs by naming some of the most prominent landmarks in the country after them and never hesitating to do its best to honor and provide care to their families."

At the end of his statement, Dr. Al Zaabi prayed to Allah to have mercy upon our valiant martyrs and to rest their soul in peace.

Employees from the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also took part in the events organized as part of this day.
