An awareness-raising seminar was organized for students of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT). During the seminar, students were given an overview of the financial markets sector and were encouraged to join this promising sector that is vital to the UAE economy.

Types of companies and the various job opportunities available there were explained to students and they were informed about jobs that may be replaced by technology and hence the extreme importance of adapting to national and international changes. Some light was also shed on the future job opportunities that will be brought about by innovation and advanced technology.

Finally, students were given a quick overview of CV writing and marketing skills to get better job interviews and were provided with guidelines on key strategies for successfully passing interviews. At the end of the seminar, students' general questions on the securities sector were answered.
