The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) approved the registration and subsequent listing of the National International Holding Company (a Kuwait-based public joint-stock company) on the UAE stock exchanges as a foreign company. Thus, the number of public joint-stock companies registered with SCA amounts to 126, 111 of which are domestic and 15 are foreign.
