Registering a local investment fund passporting

This service enables the legal representative of a local investment fund to submit an application to the CMA when looking to register the fund under the Passporting regime between the Dubai Financial Services Authority and/or the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, as per the Passporting agreement

Conditions & Requirements

The concerned fund must be registered with or licensed by the CMA.

The application should be submitted by the legal representative of the concerned local investment fund.

The controls set forth in the Passporting agreement must be complied with.

The fund's offering document must comply with the Mutual Recognition Agreement. If not, the applicant must request an amendment, pay fees, and obtain authority approval before applying for local investment fund registration.
