This service enables all market participants to appeal against decisions made by the SCA in relation to disputes between investors and entities subject to its supervision as well as against the decisions issued against them due to their violation of the law and regulations

Service Process


Conditions & Requirements

Submit the appeal with all required documents within 30 days of notification. If the deadline falls on a holiday, it extends to the next business day; otherwise, it's void.

The application must include a detailed explanation of its subject and the appellant’s demands and reasons for appeal filing.

The appellant should have a legitimate interest in submitting the appeal application

Appealing against decisions involving (guidance, warnings, and referrals to judicial authorities) will not be reviewed

Required Documents

  1. Copy of the decision appealed against (related to the matters referred to in service definition).

  2. Information and contact details of the parties to the appeal, in addition to the appellant’s identification papers.

  3. Copy of the complaint filed earlier with the SCA (if the appealed against decision is related to a complaint).

  4. Copy of the power of attorney if the appeal was filed by the appellant’s agent, provided that the original power of attorney is reviewed

  5. All of the documents supporting the appeal application

  6. Any other documents the committee deems necessary for the resolution of the appeal, given that they are provided within the period specified by the committee.
